Spiked Kohleria [Kohleria spicata]

The IC-1037 Spiked Kohleria (Kohleria spicata) is a compact tropical houseplant that livens indoor spaces with textured foliage and clusters of tubular blooms. In a sunny windowsill or bright shelf, this Kohleria thrives on warmth and consistent light, making it a standout in any houseplant collection for both beginners and seasoned plant lovers.

Care is straightforward for indoor gardening enthusiasts: provide bright, indirect light to preserve leaf color; water when the top inch of soil dries, and use a fast-draining potting mix to prevent root rot; maintain temperatures between 65–75°F (18–24°C) and moderate humidity. Feed monthly in the growing season and allow a slight dry spell before the next watering. Avoid cold drafts and soggy pots.
